January 30 -What Kind Of Writer I Want To Be

 

They say to write what you know. Take your personal experiences put them into words tell the whole world yr story. My problem is I have so much to say so many stories to tell. I have no idea where to start  I’ve also found it difficult to figure out what kind of writer I want to identify as. Well, I guess I do kind of know. I find that all the different stories I do want to share seem to fall into many different categories. Sometimes I rather write it in a story, but other times write it in a song or poem I don’t want to restrict myself to one genre. I think that’s so boring.  It may seem kind of crazy and all over the place but as I stated it depends on what story I’m telling and where I wanna go with it. With all the different things I want to share with my writing, I thought to myself what’s the point in limiting myself when I have all these different opportunities to open many different windows? Some people may not like what I’ve chosen to do. But that’s their problem and not mine I want to be able to be free to talk about whatever I want. People can judge and say what they gotta say but I’m not here for them.  They are not my audience. I know that my audience will find me and I will get the following that I always craved with my writing. So I welcome you all to join me on this journey I have planned for myself.
