Unconditional love 

This quote hit me so hard 

I wasted so long on loving someone unconditionally.

Even though they didn’t treat me the same

I held on to one simple thing for so long

Endured so much emotional and mental abuse 

I didn’t wanna hurt the person cause of how much I cared for that person

at the end of the day when I finally did leave 

I realized it wasn’t worth  everything I put into the relationship

It’s like it meant nothing at all

 

 

When you’re giving your unconditional love. Just make sure it’s worth your while. Do not destroy  yourself for someone who wouldn’t do the same for you.
