Story Prompts: My First Kiss 2007 - March 14,2022

 

Have you ever listened to a song and the moment the music started .. you had a flashback. To a very important memory related to it. That’s what just happened to me. Lips of an angel came on and I instantly went back to high school. At a school dance 💃 I remember bringing my boyfriend Blake who went to a different school. I had a plan that whole night. I hadn’t had a real first kiss yet. I was 16 this needed to happen. I mean I played truth or dare and kissed then. But this was my first real first one with someone whom I loved. Like the ones you see in movies or read about . I’ve been waiting my whole life to feel the feelings they feel in love stories .. the night was amazing . He met and  got along with all my friends that night . We danced I felt so free I was doing what I loved with everyone I loved . Finally that last slow dance came on. I knew after this song it was going to happen. We slowly danced to the music holding each other close. The song ended.. This was it. I was finally going to get my first kiss. I was a little nervous but I went in and just did it. I felt like  I was walking on cloud 9 after. I went home so happy and fell asleep thinking how amazing it was to kiss the first guy I fell in love with. 😍
