Sixteen years ago when I started high school, I met a person
I never expected to be where I am now with them in my life. We clicked as friends right away and then the
next thing I know I find out our birthdays are 3 days apart. Now of course for
our 15 birthday we had a shared party which was awesome. Now over those years,
we have had so many different adventures. We fought but we always made up. Now
near the end of high school, she moved away. Still kept in touch when I was 19
and moved to Newmarket. I found out she lived here as well soon things picked
up like it was just yesterday that we saw each other. One difference, she was a
mom and pregnant with another on the way. She was the first to name me auntie
amber. That day meant so much to me as I am an only child so to be named an
aunt which meant the entire world to me. Now she moved away and we fell apart
for a while there. But in 2019 when I found out she moved back to town we got
together. It was like nothing had changed. Ever since then we have been
involved and back in each other’s lives. She helped me make my dream of
adoption come true! We found my furever Furbaby! I became a mom that has always been one of my
biggest dreams is to adopt and give someone or something a home that needed
one. Now over the last year, we have both gone through some crazy things during
this crazy time. We have been by each other's side through it all. I am
honestly so grateful to have her in my life.
