Age Than A Number - Jan 28, 2014

 

When did age become more than just a number? I was talking to a coworker who is still in high school and she was telling me how people frowned upon her possibly having "a thing" with someone a year younger. She also told me how when she commented on a younger guy going to be attractive when he was older. She was then nicknamed cougar. I mean when I was in high school, it didn't matter. I knew someone in grade 9 [14 years old] dating a grade 12[17 years old]. I mean my stepmom is 5 years older than my dad. It is not about age it is about love and compatibility. I mean if a 30 year "wanted" a 10-year-old child that would be different. That would be considered  pedophilia. But a 30-year-old man wanting a 50-year-old woman would be different as well. 90% of the time it is okay to love or be attracted to someone older or younger than you. I mean a few years younger or older who cares?
